VOPA brings its highly anticipated production of the iconic musical Grease to the historic El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood this November. Dylan F. Thomas’s exciting staging of the beloved musical promises to be a dynamic, crowd-pleasing celebration of teen spirit, rock ‘n’ roll, and 1950s nostalgia.
Featuring 2 impressive casts of local and regional performers and accompanied by the VOPA Vinyl band led by Music Director Lindsay Aldana, Grease tells the story of Danny and Sandy, two high school seniors whose summer romance is put to the test when they unexpectedly reunite at Rydell High. Choreographer Gary Roberts brings authentic 50s lindy hop to this visually stunning production, with dance moves that will have you on the edge of your seat. With toe-tapping hits like Summer Nights, Greased Lightning, Hopelessly Devoted to You, and You’re the One That I Want, Grease delivers an irresistible mix of humor, heart, and high-energy fun.

Tommy Glodo

Tommy is absolutely fired up to be playing Danny Zuko. Originally from Chicago, he studied Musical Theatre Performance at Western Michigan University before he moved out to LA. His previous roles include Pierre in “Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812”, Jonathan in “The Play That Goes Wrong”, Grover (Fight Director) in “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical”, and Jud Fry (Fight Director) in “Oklahoma!” He is beyond stoked to work with VOPA again. Jennifer Kersey

Jennifer Kersey is thrilled to return to the VOPA family after appearing in Oklahoma! as Laurey and Fiddler on the Roof as Tzeitel. Brennen Klitzner

Brennen Klitzner is looking forward to joining VOPA as Kenickie in their November production of GREASE. You may have most recently seen him as Jack Kelly in Simi's NEWSIES. Some of his other previous roles include, Roger (RENT), Bobby Child (CRAZY FOR YOU), Tully (Escape to Margaritaville), Warner (Legally Blonde) & Frederick Frankenstein (YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN). He is currently studying at ASU online with a minor in Theatre. When not immersed in musical theatre, Brennen loves spending time with his family, friends & watching sports (GO LAKERS & DODGERS!). He would like to thank his Mom, Brother & Sister for their constant love and support. He dedicates this show to his dad (love and miss you dad). @brennen.klitzner

Rachel Wilson

Rachel Wilson is thrilled to be making her VOPA debut as such an iconic character. She was, in fact, the exact opposite of Rizzo during her time in high school, so she’s excited to live vicariously through her character in this production. Other recent roles include Ella in R&H Cinderella (High Street Arts Center), Katherine in Newsies (ARTS @ SVCAC), Portia in Something Rotten and Liesl in Sound of Music (Camino Real Playhouse). Rachel would like to thank her incredible family for consistently making time to see every show she’s in (even when it’s a four-hour drive).

Zach McDonald

Zach McDonald is thrilled to be returning to VOPA as Doody/Kenickie in Grease! Having received formative training at AMDA College and Conservatory and Mercersburg Academy, he credits his mentors and educators for instilling in him the skills and passion necessary for his craft. Recent credits include Will Parker in “Oklahoma!”, Asher in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and The Grinch at Universal Studios Hollywood. Zach would like to extend his heartfelt thanks to his family, friends, roommates and mentors whose unwavering support and guidance have been the cornerstone of his journey.

Lilach Cary

Lilach Cary is thrilled to be back for her fourth show with VOPA, and her third magical balancing act as both Assistant Stage Manager and ensemble member—basically a human Swiss Army knife. When not sprinting between cues and costume changes, she's working hard to maintain her proud and unbroken record of never accidentally stepping onstage with her headset still on. (So far, so good.) Big thanks to the extremely talented cast and crew of this show, and to her family for helping her find time to continue to pursue her passion for theatre and music.

Joshua Caleb

Joshua Caleb is excited to join this wonderful cast and crew for his first production with VOPA and can’t wait to return to the world of Grease! Some of Joshua’s other favorite credits as of late include Black Comedy, The Producers, and The Pirates of Penzance. He would like to thank his family and his Emily for all of their love and support. Finally, Joshua would like to thank his cat, Indigo, for her help with rehearsing the songs every night.

Emily Holz

Emily Holz is SO stoked to be back for another production with VOPA (and keeping the Grease tradition alive of being over 30 years old playing a high schooler)! She was most recently seen in one of her favorite roles to date as Ado Annie in VOPA's Oklahoma!. Other favorite roles include Margie O'Brien in A 1940's Radio Christmas Carol (Torrance Theater Company) and Linda in the Wedding Singer (Morgan-Wixson Theatre). She is also a voiceover artist whose voice has been heard in audiobooks, podcasts, video games, radio dramas, commercials and more, including the voice of "Bubbles", the animated fish host on the LivePlayBingo mobile app. She wants to thank her family for always supporting her and taking a break from milking goats out in a cornfield to come watch her sing some silly songs on stage. She hopes to one day be the annoying talking animal sidekick in a Disney movie.

Connor Wise

Connor Wise is an LA born actor who has performed in various formats. He has voiced characters for Walt Disney Animation in series like Sofia the First and Wander Over Yonder as well as made onscreen appearances for The Tonight Show. This is his first show with VOPA, but he has experience in theatre having been a part of productions such as Once Upon a Mattress, Argonautika, Godspell, Shakespeare’s Richard III, Under the Gaslight, and Pippin. He is super excited to be a part of this cast and looks forward to performing!

Amanda Benjamin

Amanda Benjamin Is excited to take the stage as Ado Annie! From enchanting audiences as "Little Red" in Into the Woods, to captivating them as Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar, and mesmerizing them as Christine Dae in a concert rendition of Phantom of the Opera, Amanda has proven time and again that she is a force to be reckoned with in the world of theater.
Amanda's passion for music led her to pursue a degree from UC Davis. Eager to make her mark in the world of performing arts, she came to Southern California to establish herself on the stage. To further expand her artistic horizons, she ventured to Italy, where she not only studied but also had the privilege of performing. Immersed in the rich tapestry of Italian culture and history, she honed her skills and brought her unique flair to the international stage. She hopes you enjoy this performance as she brings new life to this classic character!

Yaniv Snir

After a 25-year hiatus from the stage—spent wrangling international development projects and business strategies—Yaniv Snir made his grand return in VOPA’s Oklahoma!, followed by Best of Broadway… and Everything Else 3. Now he’s traded cowboy boots for shorty shorts in Die Fledermaus, grooving his way through Strauss with a side of disco. He thanks his family for their patience, his colleagues for pretending this is totally normal, and the audience for indulging what is clearly a sequined mid-life renaissance.

Bruno Satalino

Bruno Satalino is happy to be making his debut with Vopa! Credits include: Hans (West coast Premiere of "Frozen"), Tony (West side Story), Joe Hardy (Damn Yankees), Joseph (Joseph ATATD), Gabe (Next to Normal), Chad (All Shook Up), Bert (Mary Poppins), and Prince Topher (Cinderella). He would like to thank everyone in the creative team for this amazing opportunity, and is very grateful to be apart of this wonderful cast!! Camille Imperial

Camille Imperial is an artist, originally from the Philippines, who began her journey with extensive training in both dance and voice. She completed the Royal Academy Of Dance syllabus in ballet and performed professionally back home before moving to Los Angeles to pursue her BFA in Dance Theatre at AMDA. She combines versatile dance training with vocal training, grounding her work in theatre and performance. In LA, Camille has danced with LA Choreographers & Dancers and performed in an all-woman immersive reimagining of Julius Caesar, which she also choreographed for. She is thrilled to make her musical theatre debut as Cha-Cha in Grease, bringing together her passion for storytelling, movement, and music.

Katelyn Coon

Katelyn Coon is thrilled to be in her first show at VOPA. Some of her favorite roles have been Tracy in Hairspray (SVCAC) Ella in R & H’s Cinderella (MWT) and Originating Abby in Abby Normal The Musical (House Theater) She’d like to thank the incredible cast and crew for all of their hard work and talent, as well as her family and friends for their love and support. Bowie Bundlie

Bowie Bundlie is excited to be part of this amazing Grease cast! His theatrical debut was at age 4 in Glendale Center Theatre’s, A Christmas Carol, where he continued for 3 seasons as Tiny Tim. This summer, Bowie played Fate 3 in Theatre Palisades’ production of Hadestown. Other favorite roles include Chip in Casa 0101s Beauty and the Beast, Michael in McCoy Rigby’s Peter Pan in Saudi Arabia and Asher in Phantom Projects’ “The Giver”. On TV, Bowie co-starred on Homecoming with Julia Roberts, ABC’s The Goldbergs and appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show as half of the music duo, FDOS (@fdosofficial) with his brother. Bowie is the voice of Remy in the new animated show, “Remy Bear & Friends” coming soon to Peacock. Bowie is an accomplished jazz pianist and composer, and Bowie is working on the follow-up to his debut piano album, “This Goes To 11” due out this winter.

Mark Sterling

No stranger to the theatre, Mark Sterling made his debut as Aladdin’s lamp in 3rd grade; now 60 years later, Fiddler! This production is his real acting debut, and while he is nervous, showbiz is in his blood! Sterling’s father, Dick Sterling, was a singer/comedian and partnered for a short time with the legendary Shecky Green. His sister, Mindy, is a “movie star” with tons of credits, but she is best known for her role as Frau Farbissina in the Austin Powers movie series, and Miss Briggs in I-Carly. But don’t get it twisted, Mark is great in front of a crowd and has emceed hundreds of events! Mark is the owner of World’s Greatest Promotional Stuff, where he produces t-shirts and swag for companies, including the Fiddler t-shirts you’ll purchase today! He worked at Braemar Country Club as a Tennis Pro for 20 years, quitting in 1998. 24 years later, during the pandemic, Mark returned to Braemar part-time with his new dream title, “social ambassador.” In his new role, he is both a Tennis/Pickleball pro and also the ‘bringer of fun’ to social events. Mark is honored to have been asked to play Yussel in Fiddler, and hopes he made you laugh today!

Linda Escobar

Linda Escobar has been singing and performing professionally all her life. She started as a classically trained opera singer doing such roles as Carmen, Suzuki, The Beggar Woman from Sweeney Todd, and many others. Linda also has conducted various choirs and has produced shows here in Southern California. This is Linda’s second performance with VOPA. She performed as Grandma Tzeitel In Fiddler on the Roof, and is excited to explore this new role of Aunt Eller. In her spare time, Linda enjoys walking and avidly walks 3 miles every morning.
Angel Cast

Alexander Kochoa

Hey, I’m Alexander Kochoa, and I’m stoked to make my VOPA debut as Danny Zuko in Grease! I’ve been lucky to play some incredible roles on stage, including Jean Valjean (Les Misérables), Miles (She Kills Monsters), Kenickie (Grease), Professor Plum (Clue), the Beast (Beauty and the Beast), and Charles/Silvius (As You Like It). Each show has taught me something new, and stepping into Danny’s leather jacket is definitely one of the most fun challenges yet. I’m currently studying Film & Television at Loyola Marymount University. Outside of rehearsal, I am on the rowing team at LMU and have also done martial arts since I was 14. Thrilled to be a part of the VOPA family for the first time!

Jenna-Mae White

Jenna-Mae White is a dynamic performer with experience across film, television, and theatre. Originally from the UK, she moved to Los Angeles at 18 to pursue her career and has since worked with NBC, Fox/Tubi, and Lifetime. She has taken on leading roles in both award-qualifying films and classic stage productions such as Les Misérables, A Christmas Carol, and Macbeth. A professionally trained vocalist in musical theatre, pop, classical, and jazz, she is also an accomplished saxophonist, clarinetist, and pianist. Trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, LAMDA, and the National Theatre (UK), Jenna-Mae combines strong technical training with versatility in voice, movement, and dialects. Jenna-Mae is really excited to be playing Sandy, one of her dream roles in her first performance with VOPA and wants to thank her family and friends for always being her biggest supporters! Julia Timmons

Julia Timmons is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University holding a BFA in Vocal Performance with a Minor in Music Technology and a Masters in Entertainment Industry Management (MEIM). Timmons currently serves as Managing Director of VOPA, Artistic Director of Ah, Zapad Music Festival and runs her vocal studio - JCT Vocal Studio. Timmons is accomplished both on and off stage. Some favorite onstage roles include Sandrina (La Finta Giardiniera), Sharpay Evans (High School Musical), Penelope Pennywise (Urinetown) and Bunny Byron (Babes in Arms). Offstage, Timmons is skilled in audio technology, stage and production management, and audio/video capture and live streaming.

Matthew Roman

Matthew Roman is excited to make his debut with VOPA. His Past credits include: Sonny (In the heights), Duke of Weselton/Dance Captain (Frozen), Sonny (Grease), Dan (Joseph ATATDC) Rudolpho (Matilda), Maugrim (Narnia), The Narrator (Puffs), Outside of theatre, he is a musician, emcee, and he studied acting at The Actor's Edge Studio in Burbank CA. Rachel Stubington

Rachel Stubington can do a pretty decent impression of the baby from “Family Guy,” it’s not great, but you can definitely tell it’s Stewie. She also plays the character Summer on Apple TV’s “Shrinking.” She’s doing this musical so when people ask what she’s been up to she can say “Grease” and people might think she means that she traveled to Mykonos. She is SO excited to work with VOPA!!

Andrew Landecker

Andrew Landecker is an actor, singer and musician. He is thrilled to join VOPA and the talented cast of “Oklahoma!”. Andrew has performed from coast to coast. Some of his credits include: Amos (Chicago, the Musical), Motel (Fiddler on the Roof), LeFou (Beauty and the Beast), Tony Soprano (The Streaming Verse of Madness), Robin (Something Rotten!), Elf (Cirque: Spirit of Christmas), Adventure Andy (Jurassic Quest National Tour), Speed (Sky High Remote Learning), Chester (The Bully Problem). Thank you to the “Oklahoma!” creative team for the opportunity, and to my family, friends and mentors for their support.

Jessie Massoudi

Persian-American singer and actress Jessie Massoudi is a Southern California native known for her quirky stage presence. Her musical theater and operetta highlights include originating the role of Janine in Gunfight at the Not-So-OK Saloon at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, Ellen in Oklahoma!, Grittly in the West Coast premiere of Le 66, Gianetta (The Gondoliers), Adele and also a female reinterpretation of Alfred in Die Fledermaus, Gertrude McFuzz (Seussical), Amy (Little Women the Musical), Cindy Lauper in Mission Opera’s 80’s-themed Merry Widow: Madonna, and Angela (Patience), for which she won the Desert Theater League’s “Best Supporting Actress” award. Notable operatic roles include Musetta in La Bohème (DTL "Best Supporting Actress" nominee), Miss Silverpeal (The Impresario), Giulietta (Les Contes d’Hoffmann), Nella (Gianni Schicchi), and Dorabella (Così fan tutte). Jessie holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Redlands and also performs as a pop and jazz singer, noted for the “bluesy quality” of her voice. Bradley Bundlie

At age 3, Bradley Bundlie fell in love with the art of becoming ‘someone else’ when he first stepped onto the stage. A two-time YEA winner for his title role in Oliver! at Lawndale PAC, and Auggie Pullman in Phantom Project’s Wonder, Bradley is thrilled to be doing his first VOPA show! In 2019, he and his brother Bowie played John and Michael in McCoy Rigby’s Peter Pan in Riyadh. Most recently, Bradley played Orpheus in Theatre Palisades’ production of Hadestown. With his band FDOS, Bradley has played lead guitar in over 200 shows, from the beaches of Santa Monica, to NYC and the streets of Edinburgh, the Stan Lee Comic Con in Jeddah, and last fall in Monaco, opening for the Plain White T’s. Bradley currently plays in the jazz ensemble at The Colburn School of Music, having been mentored by jazz great, Mark Whitfield. Follow him @bradleybundlie

Brooke Forman

Brooke Forman is an LA based singer who studied theater arts at NYC’s Pace University. She grew up doing musical theater which is where she found her roots in music. After graduating, she began working for record labels learning the ins and outs of the music industry. That led her into Electronic Dance Music (EDM) where she wrote and sang on her record with Nicky Romero that went to number one on the charts worldwide. Brooke has gone on a world tour under her stage name Singa with Ultra Music Festival! She’s performed mainstage at Ultra Brazil, Japan, Singapore and Miami’s 20th Anniversary. As well, Brooke lived in Bali during her residency as a singer. She’s excited to get back to where it all began when she was a child, the love of theater. She played Chava in VOPA's Fiddler on the Roof. "It was one of the greatest honors to be in a production of Fiddler and a dream role to play Chava." Following that, she stepped into the world of Opera and joined forces yet again with VOPA on their production of Die Fledermaus. Her next venture is playing the iconic character of Frenchy in Grease and she couldn’t be more excited to get to portray such a lovable beauty school dropout! She looks forward to being back on the El Portal stage with this amazing company!

Makenna Bolton

Makenna Bolton is thrilled to make her debut at VOPA. Growing up Makenna has trained in numerous styles of dance since the age of 3, she has performed at recitals, festivals, conventions and has been invited to attend Wisconsin Dance Council, and Intensives at Universities, as well as working with dance companies and being inducted into the National Society of Dance Arts. She began performing in musicals in high school, Grease was actually her first ever show! She continued her love of the performing arts by attending and graduating with her Associates from AMDA College of Performing Arts in Hollywood. Afterwards she returned to Wisconsin and choreographed for dance recitals, performed with Sock Opera Dance Company, and worked as the sole choreographer and producer for Playhouse Theater Group, and Second Act. Makenna moved to LA last year where she has credits including: Guys and Dolls, Newsies, Anastasia, Joseph, Little Women Ballet Company, and choreography work for a music video. Makenna plans to continue working in the performing arts and next year she will attend a University to earn her Bachelors in Environmental Science. She would love to thank her friends here in LA and in WI for their love and support of her work, and her beautiful family, especially her parents and grandmother, for always supporting her and giving her the best opportunities. Tasha Taylor

Tasha Taylor is so excited to make her debut with VOPA. Some past roles include Judy Haynes in “White Christmas,” Peggy Jones in “The Andrews Brothers,” and Clio in “Xanadu.” Some experience with Tv/film include “Vice” (baton twirler) and “Let’s Make A Deal” (contestant). Mark is the owner of World’s Greatest Promotional Stuff, where he produces t-shirts and swag for companies, including the Fiddler t-shirts you’ll purchase today! He worked at Braemar Country Club as a Tennis Pro for 20 years, quitting in 1998. 24 years later, during the pandemic, Mark returned to Braemar part-time with his new dream title, “social ambassador.” In his new role, he is both a Tennis/Pickleball pro and also the ‘bringer of fun’ to social events. Mark is honored to have been asked to play Yussel in Fiddler, and hopes he made you laugh today!

Linda Escobar

Linda Escobar has been singing and performing professionally all her life. She started as a classically trained opera singer doing such roles as Carmen, Suzuki, The Beggar Woman from Sweeney Todd, and many others. Linda also has conducted various choirs and has produced shows here in Southern California. This is Linda’s second performance with VOPA. She performed as Grandma Tzeitel In Fiddler on the Roof, and is excited to explore this new role of Aunt Eller. In her spare time, Linda enjoys walking and avidly walks 3 miles every morning.

Bryce Hagerty

Bryce Hagerty is thrilled to be making her debut with VOPA in Grease! As one of the youngest members in the cast, she is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to perform alongside such a talented group. Bryce has been doing theatre since the age of 7 and dreams of pursuing a professional career in both film and stage acting. Some of her favorite past roles include Earthworm in James and the Giant Peach, Babkak in Aladdin, Lucille in Junie B. Jones, and ensemble in Matilda. She has performed with several theatre companies, including Canyon Theatre Guild and CSUN. Outside of theatre, Bryce enjoys reading, skateboarding, and working as a background actor in film and TV. Some of her favorite books include The Outsiders, IT, and Peter Nimble and his Fantastic Eyes. She thanks her family for their love and support!

Quinn Howard

Quinn Howard is excited to be making her debut with VOPA in Grease the Musical! Quinn has studied dance at Cal State University, Fullerton as well as with Westside Ballet. Outside of the theatre, Quinn enjoys rock climbing and exploring new challenges that push both creativity and endurance. Quinn is grateful to family, friends, and mentors for their encouragement, and to the creative team at VOPA for this wonderful opportunity.

Debra Kamenir

Debra Kamenir is thrilled to be performing in VOPA’S production of Die Fledermaus. She recently performed with VOPA’s production of Oklahoma! in the ensemble, as well as Fiddler On The Roof as a bottle dancer and in the ensemble. Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, Deb developed a love of singing and dancing as a little girl. Inspired by her mother Claire, Deb joined Maestra Noreen Green’s choir at Temple Ramat Zion some 40 years ago, where she and Claire sang together. This was the beginning of Debra’s friendship with Noreen, as well as her participation in Noreen’s various choirs - both of which continue to this day. Debra has appeared alongside her husband (acclaimed pianist, accompanist, composer and arranger David Kamenir) performing medleys and duets with such groups as The Pierce College Community Choir and The Encore Singers. She also performs with Happy Notes, a harmony group led by Kim Levett that performs regularly at various venues throughout the Valley and Los Angeles. Deb studied ballet and jazz dance for many years, and often choreographs dance routines to accompany her groups’ vocal performances. Debra majored in music at Pierce College and currently studies voice with vocal coach and mentor Tova Morcos, Ricki Gole and Dylan F. Thomas. When not dancing or singing, you can find Deb styling hair in her private hair salon in Tarzana.

Sydney Locher

Sydney Locher is a 17 year old dancer with 10 years of experience in a multitude of styles including tap, jazz, modern, hip hop, and ballet. She is currently a student at California School of the Arts in the dance conservatory, where she performs for events and shows throughout the year. She has also performed in concerts and for festivals, both as a background dancer for an artist and the principal event. She has a background in competitive dance as well as performative, and is a national champion in dance. She has also worked as a choreographer for dancers, and has created several pieces for performances and dance concerts. She has been performing in plays and musicals in school productions for 5 years, and is currently working on expanding her experience in musical theater and acting productions.

Jake McDermott

Jake McDermott is so honored to be a part of this amazing and talented cast! Some of Jake’s recent theater shows include Baker in Into the Woods at Thousand Oaks High School, The Wizard of Oz at High Street Center of the Arts, and The Secret Garden with Conejo Players. He would like to thank his friends and family for their support, and his castmates for their knowledge and kindness.

Jennifer Sax

Jennifer Sax is so excited to be a part of Valley Opera Performing Arts’ production of “Oklahoma”. This is her acting debut. Previously she was casted as the understudy for Tzeitel in VOPA’S production of Fiddler On the Roof. Born and raised in New Jersey, Jennifer has been singing since her youth. She performed at Carnegie Hall as a soloist with the International Jewish Teen Choir, HaZamir. Jennifer studied Vocal Performance with a concentration in classical voice at New York University where she received a Bachelor’s of Music. During the day, Jennifer is an Artist Royalty Specialist for Universal Music Group. She wants to thank her husband Jon, parents Adriann and Jeff, and their dog Winston for always supporting her passions.

Ella Raziel

Ella Raziel is a recent graduate from Occidental College ('24). She spent the last year teaching English in Madrid, Spain and had a wonderful time. She is so excited to be performing in her first VOPA production. Recent shows include: Legally Blonde and Die Fledermaus. She would like to shout out her friends and family.

Lucienne Reyes

Luciénne Reyes was born and raised in Los Angeles before studying psychology at Pitzer College. She got her start with VOPA serving as a second violinist in the VOPA Orchestra for Oklahoma!, followed by Die Fledermaus in the former half of 2025. Luciénne has been playing the violin since she was eight years old. Grease is Luciénne’s third VOPA production, but her first production as part of the cast — and her first time singing, dancing, and acting onstage (but not playing the violin in a pit) in a professional theater production. She would like to thank Oklahoma! cast members Marissa Angelique (Dream Laurey), Mady McGraw (Kate), and James Kerrigan (Ike Skidmore) for their support in navigating the world of musical theater.
