Historic Virtual Opera!

Valley Opera & Performing Arts, in collaboration with Opera San Luis Obispo and Mission Opera, is excited to bring you this virtual production of Puccini’s heart-wrenching opera, “Suor Angelica”, performed with The VOPA Orchestra, under the baton of Brian Asher Alhadeff.

This historic production is the first opera video to be produced entirely virtually, from start to finish, with orchestra, and with no rehearsal taking place whatsoever (virtually or live).

Free Viewing Of The Full Opera Available To All!

We are offering this content at no charge to the viewer, so we are relying on donations in order to pay our production costs.

This production provided much needed income to 13 singers, 15 instrumentalists, a conductor, an audio engineer, and a video editor during a time when all work had been taken away from these artists due to the Covid-19 crisis.

Please help us continue providing work to incredible artists like these, and bringing you the exceptional content you’ve come to expect by…
