Jennifer Kersey is thrilled to exchange her nun habit for a schmatta! Recent credits include The Sound of Music (Sister Sophia, California Theater for the Performing Arts), The Sound of Music (Nun Ensemble, Musical Theater West). Touring Credits: The Sound of Music (Nun Ensemble, Liesl/Louisa understudy, BroadwayAsia Tours), Laura Ingalls Wilder (Laura, Artspower Tours). Other Credits include: Jekyll and Hyde (Emma Carew), Parade (Mary Phagan), Godspell (“Bless the Lord”), “A Goofy Movie” (Max, El Capitan Movie Theater pre-show). Disney Cruise Line: Toy Story the Musical (Andy), Disney Dreams (Anne Marie). Operas: Cendrillon (Cendrillon, by Viardot), Die Fledermaus (Adele). Theme Park Shows: Disneyland, Universal Studios Hollywood, Knotts Berry Farm (including 5yrs as Cameo Kate), Legoland, Six Flags America, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Paramount’s Kings Dominion. When not performing on a big stage, Jen travels with her independent theater, Storybook Family Playhouse, performing shows for children at libraries and preschools, and singing at senior centers. During the holidays, you can also find her performing as The Singing Mrs. Claus LA or MiraGelt (her Hanukkah character) throughout Southern California.
